Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Adline, a service operated by NationGuard LLC, a Washington limited liability company. By creating an account or installing Adline, you agree to them.

1. What the service does

Adline scans marketing content on the sites and accounts you connect, identifies phrases that match terms in its rule set, and reports each match with the phrase it matched and the rule it matched against.

2. What the service does not do

Adline does not certify compliance. Adline does not provide legal advice. Adline does not create an attorney client relationship. A scan returning no findings is not a statement that your advertising complies with any law. You remain solely responsible for your advertising, for your disclosures, and for any approval your sponsoring company or regulator requires. Our full disclaimer is part of these terms.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your sign in link private. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to connect the sites and accounts you connect, and you confirm that you do.

4. What you may connect

You may connect only marketing properties you own or are authorised to act for. Do not connect a site belonging to a third party without their permission. If you import a roster of originators, you confirm you are authorised to act for that company and for the people on the list.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Adline to scan sites you have no relationship with, to build a competitive database of other people's marketing, to re-sell scan output as your own product without a written agreement with us, or to overwhelm any third party site. Adline rate limits its own requests and you may not attempt to defeat that.

6. Fees

Subscription pricing, any trial period, and per seat charges are shown to you before you pay and at every renewal. Seat changes are prorated. Fees are charged through Stripe. A failed payment suspends scanning. Findings already produced are retained during suspension.

7. Cancellation

Cancel at any time. Cancellation stops scanning and stops billing at the end of the paid period. Findings are retained unless you ask us to delete them.

8. Your data

You own your content. You grant us only the permission needed to fetch, read and analyse it in order to run the service. We do not sell it, and we do not use one customer's content to market to another. See the privacy policy.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Adline running and we do not promise that it always will be. Scheduled scans can fail because a site is down, blocks us, or changes. A missed or failed scan is not a statement that nothing was there to find.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, NationGuard LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Adline. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You acknowledge specifically that Adline may miss a violation, and that it may flag a phrase that is lawful in your circumstances. Both outcomes are inherent to automated text analysis against rules that turn on context, license type and jurisdiction. Adline is a tool that helps you look in the right place. It is not a substitute for compliance review.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account at least fourteen days before they take effect. Continuing to use Adline after that is acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Venue is Spokane County, Washington.
